Government of India is running a Domestic Efficient Lighting Programme (DELP) under which they are promoting the usage
of LED bulbs. These bulbs are sourced from top national brands and manufacturers such as Philips, Bajaj, HPL, Crompton, OSRAM, Orient
and others.

In an endeavour to make energy efficient India, the Government of India’s unit Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) is running Domestic Efficient Lighting Programme (DELP) for the Power Ministry. As a part of this initiative, government is leaving no stone unturned to spread awareness about the usage of LED bulbs and how replacing incandescent bulbs with LEDs will play a crucial role in realizing the goal of an energy efficient India. To further expand their outreach, the Government of India has partnered with Snapdeal, wherein individuals across the country would be able to buy LED bulbs at Rs. 99 only.
This initiative is being run through Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) which is a Government Body. Snapdeal has partnered with EESL to distribute these bulbs across the country.
Every eco-friendly bulb comes with a 3 year warranty and will result in 75% power savings. In the rare case of a bulb not working, they could be easily replaced by contacting the customer care number present on the package.

It available on site, but it becomes sold out within 2-3 days, u need to visit on daily basis… otherwise u can buy 7w led bulb of crompton India which is also of Rs.99

Anyways finally after a many days of wait I was able to order 1 DELP bulb and it did not allow buying more than one. It said out of stock immediately. May be you guys allow only 1 bulb per user or sell 1 bulb per day.

snapdeal charges nearly rs.200/- towards delivery charges which is nearly80% of the price of the bulbs themself which defeats the very purpose of the scheme
Delivery charge was on per lot size, they have lot size of 1 bulb, 2 bulb, 4 bulb and 6 bulb and delivery charge was around Rs.40 per lot or some thing like that but not Rs.200. currently this product is out of stock, we will update this comment once items in stock.
To get maximum benefit you need to buy item of 6 bulb combination.
